Bellows is inspired by Flash and made for the web as it is now. It keeps a stage, a timeline, symbols, tweens and buttons that work the moment you draw them, and it publishes HTML, SVG, CSS and a small script rather than a plugin. Text stays real text, every scene gets its own address, and the stage resizes with the window.
Shape tweens, motion paths, masks, filters and blend modes play on the page, and behaviors and buttons need no code. SWF and FLA files open directly with their ActionScript translated, and finished work exports as a static site, a GIF, a video, Lottie, or into Godot, Unity and Unreal. An agent can edit a document through the same commands you use. Output runs in the browser’s sandbox, and nothing you import is ever run.
The app is in a closed beta. Its site at bellows.grimvane.com is made in Bellows.
